Century
We know that a lot of you would like to support your child at home, especially with them moving to Secondary School. Therefore, we have created a guide to Century, which is an online learning platform, to help you to support your child at home. Century is a very useful tool that we use for our homework, but it is also available for you to work through at your own pace.
Century works by completing diagnostics (which we set in school) and the children then complete nuggets based on how they score in the diagnostics. This will be displayed on their pathway (the first line they see on their homepage). All of the nuggets match with the National Curriculum, but it is designed to secure the gaps in learning, so it is specific to your child’s needs. It has pathways available in Maths, English (Reading and SPAG) and Science. Century also provides a video and a memory card to support with the understanding of the task.
