A Happy and Healthy Mind

The Magic of Our Minds

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there was a little girl named Anya.  Anya loved to play outside, laugh with her friends, and explore the woods near her home. But sometimes, Anya felt a bit sad and lonely. She didn’t know why, and it made her feel a little lost.   One day, a wise old owl named Hoot flew down from a tree and landed on Anya’s shoulder. “Anya,” Hoot said in a gentle voice, “your mind is like a garden. It needs to be cared for just like your body.” “How do I care for my mind?” Anya asked. “By planting seeds of happiness,” Hoot replied. “These seeds are things like kindness, laughter, and playing with your friends. When you water these seeds with love and attention, they grow into beautiful flowers of joy and contentment.” Anya thought about Hoot’s words. She decided to try planting some seeds of happiness. She helped her neighbour with their garden, laughed with her friends at the park, and spent time reading books that made her smile.

As Anya planted more and more seeds, she began to feel happier and more confident. She realised that her mind was a magical place, and she could fill it with whatever she wanted. From that day on, Anya took good care of her mental garden, and she lived a long and happy life.
